Writer/Performer/Producer ~ Annie George
Director ~ Sarah MacDonald was co-artistic director of children’s theatre company, Giddy Aunt. For the company she has directed Gorgon (Imaginate Festival), Den (Imaginate Festival Fringe) and A Stone’s Throw (Edinburgh Festival Fringe). Other directing projects have included Ceilidh Comhla (Commonwealth Cultural Programme 2014), The Laramie Project (Aberdeen Performing Arts) and Women in Power (Firefly Arts). She has worked as assistant director on Glasgow Girls (National Theatre of Scotland), Dare to Care and Threads (Stellar Quines) and the development of The Spokesman (Visible Fictions).
Composer ~ Niroshini Thambar is a musician and composer, for theatre, installation, and with communities. Identity, migration and life story frequently inspire and thread her work. Soundtrack compositions: Secret Life of Suitcases (Ailie Cohen Puppets/Unicorn Theatre) and The Bridge (Annie George), a Commonwealth Games 2014 Cultural Programme commission. Installations: Transmission, engaging with aging, memory and creativity, and Memory Box, exploring Sri-Lankan diaspora identity. Designer ~ Alice Wilson graduated in Theatre Design from Queen Margaret University in 2011. Since then she has been working as a Set and Costume Designer. She has worked with several Scottish theatre companies including Magnetic North, Plutôt la Vie, and Vision Mechanics. She has also worked as Assistant Designer on Yer Granny (National Theatre of Scotland). Her production design credits include Sanitise (Caitlin Skinner and Melanie Jordan), My City (Jabuti Theatre), Couldn’t Care Less (Plutôt la Vie/Strange Theatre) Whatever Gets You through The Night (Arches/Vital Spark) and working as Design Associate to David Shrigley on Pass the Spoon (Magnetic North).
Photography, Video Editing and Design ~ Jacqueline Matisse is an award winning photographer, animator and artist who has been working in film, television and the arts for twenty years. Jacqueline is a graduate from the Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne Australia, and is in Scotland to pursue a Masters of Letters in Fine Art Practice at the Glasgow School of Art. She has exhibited widely and her animated films have been officially selected to screen in numerous film festivals throughout the world.
Movement Advisor/Facilitator ~ Saffy Setohy is a Glasgow based dance artist working across and between collaborative and interdisciplinary choreography, performance, and participatory work. Saffy’s projects have been commissioned and presented by partners in the UK, France, Sweden and Germany. Saffy is one of the artists selected to participate in this year’s dance artist-curator mentorship programme supported by Siobhan Davies Dance. Saffy teaches and facilitates in a wide range of education and community contexts, and is a visiting university and college lecturer. http://www.saffysetohy.co.uk
